George Rubenacker, 92, of Ormond Beach passed away February 17, 2010.  He was born in Piopolis, IL son of Pius and Anna Rubenacker.  Retired USMC, he served his country in World War II and Korea and later worked and retired from the Dept. of Navy.  George received an ABS in Accounting from George Washington University.  He and his wife, Wilma, volunteered many hours at Second Harvest, Family Renew and St. Brendan Catholic Church and he was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his son Robert Kiefer and his wife Sherry, Ormond Beach, his son Mark Rubenacker of Pensacola FL; his daughter Patricia Craig and her husband Joe; and her grandsons, Joseph, Dylon and Morgan Craig of Fort Myers, FL.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Clement Church in McLeansboro, IL. on a date yet to be determined.
